Another so-so - Resurrecting the Champ Reviews

The story itself although based on a true story that was based on a lie, it, I am sure was more appealing in real life. I was bored throughout the duration of the movie. The storyline was long and drawn-out. There were many times that less would have been more. i will say that samuel l. jacksons performance was convincing and aesthetically pleasing. In an era that see Mr. Jackson as either a star of the film or has a cameo in any others, this was his best performance since Pulp Fiction. As for Mr. Josh Hartnett, as for being the teenage heart throb he once was, I would say that he needs to step up his performing. The only thing that sees to get him through Hollywood are his looks. And on a last note, Alan Alda needed a role that has him more active in the movie.
